William Kowalsky
Most recently, I served as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania. Previous to that, I did a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at York University. My primary research is in the Philosophy of Psychology, Philosophy of Mind, and Philosophy of Perception. I have secondary research interests in Philosophy of Neuroscience and Philosophy of Artificial Intelligence.

I received my Ph.D. in Philosophy at UCLA in December 2020, and my B.A. in Philosophy at Harvard University in 2012.

My current research focuses on understanding psychological states of confidence or uncertainty, especially as they apply in perception.
